Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This is a travel assignment at a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited facility. The unit serves a diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Shift & Hours

• Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: None

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
• NIH Certification

Required License

• Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License or compact state license

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty (Emergency Department)

Additional Information

• Electronic Health Record system used: Meditech
• No float requirements specified
• Orientation provided weekly

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
