Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification
- CPR certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist within the last year
- Experience in rehabilitation and acute care settings
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Inpatient rehab or acute care experience
- Knowledge/experience with dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, cognition
- Familiarity with common diagnoses such as stroke, spinal cord injury (SCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), debility, cardiac and respiratory failure
