Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (varied shifts)
Weekend Hours: As needed, every other weekend
Call Requirements: As needed

Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Trauma Level: III
Patient Population: All ages
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Facility Size: 167-bed healthcare facility
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Dress Code: Professional, non-offensive attire; scrub color is flexible

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Required Certifications prior to start:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
- Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
Must clear Tennessee Abuse Registry check before assignment start

Job Responsibilities and Expectations

Provide quality critical care nursing in the CCU
Float to other units as needed
Work collaboratively as a professional team player

Additional Notes

Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
The client may require additional certifications beyond those listed
Weekend and call shifts are on an as-needed basis
No specific patient ratios or common diagnoses provided
