Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (varied shifts)
Weekend Hours: As needed, every other weekend
Call Requirements: As needed

- Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
- Trauma Level: III
- Patient Population: All ages
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
- Patient Ratios: Not specified
- Facility Size: 167-bed healthcare facility
- Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
- Dress Code: Professional, non-offensive attire; scrub color is flexible
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Required Certifications prior to start:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
- Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
- Must clear Tennessee Abuse Registry check before assignment start
Job Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide quality critical care nursing in the CCU
- Float to other units as needed
- Work collaboratively as a professional team player
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
- The client may require additional certifications beyond those listed
- Weekend and call shifts are on an as-needed basis
