Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Travel Position)

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

  • Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Post-partum, Wellbaby care
  • Unit: Women’s Services
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Patient Population: Adolescent, Adult, Neonate
  • Unit Beds: 7
  • Patient Ratios: According to AWHONN standards
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) Systems: GE Centricity and Meditech

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • OB/GYN experience
  • Current certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
    • STABLE

Additional Information

  • No float requirements
  • No call responsibilities
  • Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
  • Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year

This role is ideal for an RN with Labor and Delivery experience seeking a travel assignment in a women’s services unit with a focus on obstetrics and neonatal care.
