Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location

Tacoma, Washington

Job Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
One weekend day per month with a compensatory day off during the week
Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Facility & Unit Information

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 60 beds
Patient population: adults and older adults
Patient caseload: approximately 6.5 treatments per 8-hour day
Common diagnoses: stroke (CVA) and neurological conditions

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Washington
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist within the last year
Experience in an inpatient setting
Experience in a rehabilitation setting

Additional Details

Scrub color: any
Report time: 8:00 AM on first day
Occasional weekend work required (1 day per month)
