Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Number of Openings: 1

Unit: ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)
Beds: 16
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Trauma Level: III
Equipment: Baxter pumps
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost
Call Requirements: Yes
Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN), ED holding (as needed)
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, Alcohol Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year
Experience in Intermediate Care
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Attendance Policy: One call-out allowed per contract; second call-out requires documentation and is reviewed case-by-case
Shift flexibility: Candidates should indicate if they are flexible for day or night shifts; no block schedule requests, 48-hour shifts may be considered but not guaranteed
Housing options are available
Dress Code: Scrubs (specific color not stated)
Patient care includes managing complex critical care cases with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
Candidates must submit a full packet including resume, self-assessment, and skills checklist
