Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Number of Openings: 1

Unit & Patient Population

• Unit: ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Equipment: Baxter pumps
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost
• Trauma Level: III

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and ED holding area on an as-needed basis
• Call requirements apply
• Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, Alcohol Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR
• CVICU experience is a plus but not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is a plus but not required
• Attendance policy allows one call-out per contract; additional call-outs require documentation and are reviewed case-by-case
• No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
• Housing options are available
• Candidates should indicate shift flexibility (day, night, or both)
