Radiation Therapist Travel Job – Ottumwa, Iowa
Position Overview
- Job Title: Radiation Therapist
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hours per Week: 40 hours (guaranteed)
- Call Requirements: No call; workload may occasionally require extra hours
- Float Requirements: No floating
- Number of Openings: 1
Facility & Unit Information
- Regional health center providing a wide range of services including radiation oncology
- Patient population: Adults only (no children)
- Patient load: 15-24 patients on machines on average
- Equipment used: Varian TrueBeam, Identify, GE CT Scanner
- Physics coverage available 3 days per week
- Radiation oncologist and dosimetry support on site
- Assistance with chart checks expected
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (T) Certification (Radiation Therapist)
- BLS Certification
- Dosimetrist experience
