Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Chico, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Physical Therapy (PT)

Hours per Week: 32 (40 hours guaranteed weekly)
Number of Openings: 1
Patient Population: Geriatric and adult patients
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: CVA (stroke), TBI (traumatic brain injury), fractures, cardiac conditions
Work Environment: Inpatient rehabilitation / acute rehab setting
EHR System: EPIC
Unit Beds: 40 (currently capped at 30)
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in California
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
Physical Therapist experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in inpatient or acute rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with common rehab diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, fractures, and cardiac cases
Friendly and flexible personality fit

Additional Information

Dress code: Business casual attire is not acceptable; scrubs preferred (specific scrub color not specified)
No weekend hours required
Supervisor on site
No prior travel experience explicitly required for this role
