Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Kennewick, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36


Unit and Role Overview

  • Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Role involves cross-training and coverage in Obstetrics (OB) units due to staffing shortages
  • May require floating within a 25-mile radius of the facility
  • Patient population includes neonates; unit supports acute care needs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Certifications required:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
    • Washington Suicide Prevention
    • Code of Conduct Orientation and Refresher
  • Completion of ICU Neonatal Skills Self-Assessment
