Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Kennewick, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts + standby
Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
Call Requirements: 7 shifts per 2-week pay period (variable weekend on-call)
Unit & Work Environment
- Department: Catheterization Lab
- Trauma Level: III
- Number of Beds in Unit: 2
- Patient Population: Geriatric and adult
- Team Structure: 3-person team
- Equipment Used: Philips/McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Paragon (hospital), McKesson-Change Healthcare (hemo)
- Dress Code: Green scrubs provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum of an Associate's degree
Job Responsibilities & Skills
- Must have experience in the scrub role (required)
- Monitor role experience preferred
- Common procedures: Cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Personality fit: Outgoing, adaptable, and team-oriented
Additional Information
- No float requirements
- Number of openings: 1
- Located in a teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)
- Local recreational amenities include golf courses, parks, and proximity to Washington Wine Country
- Travel candidates must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel staff
