Description

Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Assignment

Location: Edwardsville, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None

Unit & Patient Population

34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Patient ratio: 7:1
Patient types include rehab patients recovering from strokes, amputations, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), motor vehicle accidents (MVA), orthopedic issues, trauma, and debility
Equipment used: IVs, tube feeding pumps, Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, walkers
Electronic Health Records: Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Wound care experience

Preferred Qualifications

Rehab-specific nursing experience
IV therapy experience

Work Environment & Culture

Team-oriented, agile, problem-solving mindset preferred
No float requirements

Scrub color: Navy blue
Report time on first day: 8:30 AM
