Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location
- Kennewick, Washington
- Travel assignment (must be greater than 60 miles from facility to qualify)
- Facility has 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds
- Patient population: Adults
- EHR systems: Centricity and Paragon
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
- 48 weekend hours per month
- No call requirements
- Float required to Mother/Baby unit
Unit Profile
- Labor and Delivery (Birth Center)
- Volume: Approximately 110 deliveries per month
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
Required Certifications
- Fetal Monitoring
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
- Knowledge of and adherence to AWHONN guidelines
- Experience with OR circulation and mother/baby care
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Triage experience (preferred but not required)
