Description

Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location

Kennewick, Washington
Travel assignment (must be greater than 60 miles from facility to qualify)
Facility has 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds
Patient population: Adults
EHR systems: Centricity and Paragon

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Night shift
48 guaranteed hours per week
48 weekend hours per month
No call requirements
Float required to Mother/Baby unit

Unit Profile

Labor and Delivery (Birth Center)
Volume: Approximately 110 deliveries per month
Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines

Required Certifications

Fetal Monitoring
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
Knowledge of and adherence to AWHONN guidelines
Experience with OR circulation and mother/baby care

Preferred Skills/Experience

Triage experience (preferred but not required)
