Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU Travel Position

Location: Price, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in a 5-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a Level 4 Trauma facility.
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients; no cardiac or neuro cases.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Use Medhost electronic health record system.
• Shift: Days with call; approximately 8-10 call days per month, including call weekends only.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah.
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience within the last year.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Details

• Scrubs are supplied by the unit and must be worn.
• Call requirements vary but expect 8-10 days per month.
• Facility serves Carbon and Emery counties with inpatient and outpatient services.
• The community is culturally diverse with scenic outdoor opportunities.

• Comfortable working in a trauma level 4 environment.
• Able to manage a diverse patient population across age groups.
• Willing to work day shifts with call responsibilities.

Note: This is a travel assignment requiring the candidate to be located more than 60 miles from the facility.
