Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

• Beckley, West Virginia

• Travel assignment

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed
• Call requirements as needed

Unit and Patient Population

• Respiratory Therapy Department
• Serves all age groups (pediatric, adult, geriatric)
• Critical Access Hospital setting
• Therapist may be the only respiratory therapist on shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in West Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS (must have prior to start)

Job Responsibilities and Environment

• Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population
• Work in a trauma level facility with a wide range of surgical and emergency services
• Comfortable functioning as the sole respiratory therapist on shift
• Float and call duties as required

Professional Expectations

• Professional demeanor required
• Dress code: scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable
