Physical Therapist Travel Position - Iowa, Ottumwa

Job Details

Position: Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel assignment
Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Setting: Outpatient (OP) with floating to Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) units
Facility Size: 120 beds total; ARU has 13 beds
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus scheduled Saturday coverage
Number of Openings: 1

Job Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services primarily in outpatient settings
Float between outpatient, ARU, and MS units as needed, with training provided for all areas
Participate in weekend rotation (Saturday coverage)

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Iowa
Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year

Additional Information

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Meditech (Inpatient/ARU), Net Health (Outpatient)
Dress code: Scrubs of any color or business casual attire; closed-toe shoes required
Parking details provided during orientation
