Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Travel)
Location: White Hall, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (24 hours)
Call Requirements: None
Unit & Patient Population
- Behavioral Health Unit (BHU IP Unit 1)
- Adult and Geriatric patients
- 12 geriatric beds, 24 adult beds
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
- EHR system: Cerner
- Float between adult and geriatric behavioral health units
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
- Minimum 3 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Certifications: BLS issued by the American Heart Association, Handle With Care
- Crisis stabilization skills and experience, including verbal de-escalation and emergency physical intervention
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Cerner EHR system
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with milieu management using the therapeutic milieu model

- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Schizoaffective Disorder
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD)
- Dementia
Work Environment & Culture
- High energy, team-oriented, positive attitude preferred
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
- No clothing with hoods (jackets, hoodies) allowed

- No call required
- Floating between adult and geriatric behavioral health units expected
