Physical Therapist (Travel) – Sacramento, California

Job Overview

  • Position Type: Travel Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Location: Sacramento, CA
  • Facility Type: Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (52 beds)
  • Patient Population: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Orthopedic Trauma
  • Treatment Focus: Intensive, customized rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Patient Load: 4-5 patients per day, approximately 6 hours of treatment daily
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner

Contract Details

  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Days
  • Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours
  • Weekend Hours: PTA works Fri–Tues schedule; OT and SLP rotate weekends every 2-3 weeks
  • Call: None
  • Float: None

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in California

Additional Information

  • No scrub color requirement
  • Start time: 8:00 AM
  • Parking: Free parking adjacent to the building with a parking placard provided
