Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Work in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on intensive, patient-centered rehabilitation.
• Provide specialized treatment for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Deliver approximately 6 hours of treatment per day to 4-5 patients.
• Patient population includes traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), and orthopedic trauma cases.

Work Schedule

• Day shift with 36-40 guaranteed hours per week.
• Weekend hours involve a rotation every 2-3 weekends shared among therapy disciplines; PTA weekend schedule is Fri–Tues.
• No call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of Physical Therapist experience.
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• Experience in an Acute Care setting.
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting.

Additional Information

• No float requirements.
• Electronic Health Record system used: Cerner.
• Free parking with issued placard adjacent to the building.
• Report time: 8:00 AM.
• Scrub color: No requirement.
