Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
• No call requirements

Unit Information

• Emergency Department with 22 beds
• Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, 6:1 for fast track
• Patient population includes trauma, STEMI, psychiatric, cardiac, gastrointestinal, stroke, and all age groups
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Required Licenses

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arizona

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience preferred
• Prior trauma and pediatric experience preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
