Registered Nurse (CVICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Blended ICU (Cardiovascular ICU)
Unit: ICU/CVICU, Trauma Level III
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12s)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Yes
Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN) and ED holding (as needed)
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Equipment Used: Baxter pumps
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Medhost

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
