Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Greenwood, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekends (2-3 weekend days per month)
• Shift: Day shift, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Setting: Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 44 beds
• Patient population: Adult inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF)
• Caseload: Usually 6-7 patients daily
• Focus: Customized, intense rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Environment: Fast-paced with short length of stay; emphasis on teamwork and collaborative discharge planning to home
• Float: Must be able to float to other rehab units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Indiana
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting

Additional Information

• No call requirements
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 32 hours
• Electronic Health Record system: UDS
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color except navy blue
• Orientation: Report at 8:00 AM on first day; parking available in main lot; check in at main entrance reception
