Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Location: Russellville, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

• 170-bed facility, Joint Commission Accredited
• Accredited Chest Pain Center and AHA Stroke Program Award
• Services include lab, radiology, respiratory, ED, cardiology, ENT, lung care, gastroenterology, general surgery, inpatient rehab, endocrinology, and more
• Cath Lab Unit: 5-6 beds, Trauma Level 3
• Patient population: all ages
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: vital signs monitors, airway management, IV pumps, standard patient care equipment
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• Orientation schedule available throughout the year

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Shift: Days
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
• Call requirement: Yes, minimum 12 days per month (to be discussed with director)
• Float requirement: Assist in holding room (pre-op area) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)

• Dress code: Scrubs provided
• Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel assignment
