Unit & Clinical Information

• Common diagnoses and treatments include fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, congestive heart failure, and infections.
• Scrub color for RNs: Navy blue
• CNA scrub color: Grey

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (Multi State Certification) (ABCP)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly with upcoming start dates available.
• The facility is a 39-bed unit with trauma level unspecified.
• No weekend call required, but weekend float coverage is expected.
• The position is located approximately 20 miles from Asheville, NC, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
