Description

Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide quality nursing care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 12-bed capacity.
Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients.
Float to other Med Surg units as needed.
No call requirements.
Weekend hours every other week or as needed.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Patient ratio: 6:1.
Electronic Health Record system: Meditech.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Work Environment & Culture

Level III Trauma Center.
Professional dress code: scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable.
Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
Professional personality fit preferred.

Additional Information

Position is travel assignment; candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel.
No call responsibilities.
May be required to float within Med Surg units.
