Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location
- Tacoma, Washington
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 24 weeks
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- One weekend day per month with a compensatory day off during the week
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36–40 hours
Facility & Unit Information
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 60 beds
- Adult and older adult patient population
- Patient treatment ratio: approximately 6.5 patients per 8-hour day
- Focus on rehabilitation for severe injury or illness, including CVA/neuro cases
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with neurological and stroke (CVA) patients
Additional Details
- Scrub color: any
- Report time: 8:00 AM on first day
- Occasional weekend work required (1 day/month) with comp day off during the week
