Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Somerset, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36 (Every Other Weekend required)

• 295-bed acute care hospital serving an 11-county area in south central Kentucky
• Offers cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery with Spine Center accreditation
• Employs over 1,200 healthcare professionals and more than 170 physicians across 38 specialties

Position Details

• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Number of Openings: 1
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Weekend hours every other week
• Call requirements not specified

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Certifications (must have prior to start):

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
