Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit.
Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients.
Facility is a Level 3 Trauma center with a 4-bed Endoscopy unit.
Electronic Health Record system used: Meditech.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Weekend hours: Every other weekend/as needed.
On-call requirements: On call/as needed.
Float to other units as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia.
Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current ACLS certification.
Current BLS certification.

Work Environment & Culture

Dress code: Navy blue scrubs or hospital OR scrubs; casual wear is not acceptable.
Personality fit: Dependable, hard working, team player, professional.

Additional Information

Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays.
Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
The hospital treats a high volume of patients annually and offers a wide range of surgical services.
