Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 12-bed capacity.
Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients.
Float to other Med Surg units as needed.
No call requirements.
Weekend hours every other week or as needed.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Patient ratio: 6:1.
Electronic Health Record system: Meditech.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Work Environment & Culture

Level III Trauma Center.
Professional dress code: scrubs only; casual wear not allowed.
Orientation held weekly on Mondays.
Facility has a long-standing reputation for quality healthcare in the region.

Additional Information

No call requirements.
May be required to float within Med Surg units.
Professional demeanor expected.
