Description

Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit, serving adult and geriatric patient populations.
Work in a 4-bed unit specializing in procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.
Support a facility accredited by the Joint Commission with a trauma level 3 designation.
Utilize Meditech electronic health records system.

Work Schedule

36 hours per week guaranteed
Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed
On-call responsibilities as needed
Float to other units as required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience within the last year
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) prior to start

Additional Information

Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs or hospital OR scrubs; casual wear is not permitted
