Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a patient ratio of 1:2
• Patient population primarily adults (18+), with rare pediatric post-op patients
• Facility includes advanced equipment such as Baxter pumps, GE bedside monitors, and Arjo beds
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• Shift hours: 36 hours per week, with rotating/ as-needed weekends
• Call and float requirements depend on census

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Skills in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and cardiac support

Common Diagnoses and Treatments

• COPD exacerbation
• Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Atrial fibrillation
• Pre/post heart catheterization care
• Septic shock management

• Dress code: Any color scrubs allowed; street clothes or apparel with outside hospital names are not permitted

Additional Information

• Trauma Level III facility
• ICU department with 1 opening available
• Weekly orientation sessions on Mondays
