Paramedic Travel Job – Ottumwa, Iowa

Position Overview

Role: Paramedic (Prehospital specialty)
Employment Type: Travel contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: 1 day shift and 1 night shift available
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
Weekend Hours: 24 hours
Call Requirements: None
Patient Population: All ages
Unit: Ambulance Department with 4 ambulances
Float Requirement: Assist in Emergency Department as requested
Driving: No driving required; paramedic will attend patients while EMT drives the ambulance

Required Qualifications

Valid Paramedic license in Iowa
Completion of paramedic program
Minimum 2 years of paramedic experience
Paramedic experience within the last year
ACLS certification
PALS certification
BLS certification

Work Environment & Dress Code

Uniform top provided; wear black or blue pants and black shoes or boots
Team player with a patient care focus preferred
