Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position
Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide specialized nursing care in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting focused on patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility is a 50-bed hospital dedicated to maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Day shift
- Hours per week: 36
- Weekend hours: Every other weekend
- Call requirements: None specified
Unit Information
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 7 patients
- Equipment used: IV pumps, EKG machine, bariatric bed, medication dispensing systems
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Cerner, Epic
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
