Registered Nurse (IMC) - Travel Assignment

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36 (weekly guaranteed)
Call Requirements: Yes

Unit & Patient Population

• Unit: Intermediate Care (IMC)
• Beds: 30
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Common Patient Conditions: STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG pod 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, EXLIF
• Float Requirements: Medical Surgical and Telemetry (ED holds if up for admit)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of Intermediate Care experience, including experience within the last year
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience required
• One completed travel nursing assignment
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed
• Orientation provided weekly
• Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital with 171 beds and Level 3 Trauma designation
• Located in an area with outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
• Close proximity to major cities: Las Vegas (~2.5 hours), Phoenix (~3.25 hours), Grand Canyon (~3.5 hours), Los Angeles/San Diego (~5 hours)

Notes for Candidates

• Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Patient care involves critical and complex cardiac and respiratory cases
• Position requires flexibility to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
