Location: Winchester, Tennessee

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit and Facility Overview

• Behavioral Health unit with 12 beds
• Trauma Level II facility
• Patient population primarily geriatric
• Team nursing patient ratios
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• Common diagnoses include dementia
• Float requirements as needed

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Psychiatric/Behavioral Health
• Number of openings: 1
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours: Every other weekend/as needed
• Call requirements: None
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; casual wear and other facility-branded clothing are not allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health experience, including experience within the last year
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC) prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous behavioral health experience

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
