Registered Nurse - OR (Operating Room)

Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed, mixed shifts (mostly days)
Weekend Hours: On call
Call Requirements: 1:3 rotation, dependent on staffing

Facility & Unit Overview

• State-of-the-art hospital with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehab beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8-bed labor/delivery/post-partum unit
• 16-bed emergency department open 24/7
• Surgery department includes six major ORs, two endoscopy suites, and a cardiac catheterization unit
• Diagnostic imaging offers digital mammograms, x-rays, PET-CTs, and nuclear medicine
• Electronic Health Record system: CQI/MedHost
• OR Circulator role in a 6-bed OR unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• Patient population primarily adult with some pediatrics

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 5 years of OR Circulator experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Skills & Experience

• Must have circulating experience in the OR
• Familiarity with orthopedic, general surgery, podiatry, general hospital, urology-gynecology, and ENT cases preferred
• Team player with a focus on patient experience
