Description

Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry) - Travel Assignment

Location: Missoula, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (guaranteed)
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
Call Requirement: None

Unit & Patient Population

Acute Care floor with 31 beds
Trauma Level 4 facility
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with NG tube placement and management
Experience with chest tube maintenance
Rehabilitation experience

Skills & Experience

Must have experience with:
- NG tube placement and management
- Foley catheter placement and management
- Chest tube maintenance
Preferred: Experience with Cerner EMR and NIHSS certification

Dress code: Any solid color scrubs (fluorescent colors not allowed)
