Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: PM
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None

Unit & Patient Population

• Unit: Progressive Care (4th Floor)
• Number of Beds: 22
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• Patient Population: Adult cardiac observation, post cardiac cath lab patients, cardioversions
• Equipment: Telemetry
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Job Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Progressive Care Unit
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cardiac care including post cardiac cath lab and cardioversions
• Personality Fit: Team-oriented, good communication skills, flexible
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs; offensive tattoos and non-facility tops are unacceptable

Additional Information

• Orientation: Bi-weekly
• No call responsibilities
• Travel candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
