Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Travel)

Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Travel RN position specializing in OB/GYN with a focus on Labor and Delivery.
Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours as needed
No call requirements
Possible float assignments as helping hands

Unit & Patient Population

Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
Floor: 3
Number of beds: 8
Patient population includes gynecological patients as well as laboring mothers
Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year
OB/GYN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Dress code: No designated scrub color; navy scrubs provided for C-sections
Personality fit: Easy going, committed, and positive
No trauma level specified for this unit
No call requirements
