Travel RN Opportunity - IMC Unit
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Facility Type: Community hospital, Joint Commission Accredited, 171 beds, Level 3 Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care (IMC)
- Shift: Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Call Requirements: Yes
- Number of Openings: 1
- Float Requirements: Medical Surgical and Telemetry (may float to ED for admits)
- Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Typical Patient Diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG post-op day 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, EXLIF
- EHR System: Medhost
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Travel Experience: Required
- Licenses: Current Registered Nurse license for Arizona
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
Additional Information
- Orientation is weekly
- No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but not guaranteed
- Located in an area with outdoor recreation, near major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
- Must be willing to work call and float as needed
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks (about 3 months)
