Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele)
• Department: Med Surg (Cost Center 607)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Float Requirements: Med Surg as needed

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH Certification
• Registered Nurse License (State of Tennessee)

Experience and Skills

• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience
• Must have IV insertion skills
• Preferred: Medical Surgical experience

Additional Information

• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start
• Equipment used: Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
• Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
• Dress code: No specific scrub color required; no unacceptable attire noted
