Travel RN Opportunity – Las Cruces, New Mexico
Position Details

- Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Certified Primary Stroke Center
- 199 Beds
- Offers inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services
- Located in the Mesilla Valley with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities (hiking, biking, ATV, hunting, horseback riding)
Requirements
- Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Required Certifications prior to start:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse License for New Mexico
- New Mexico State Requirement:
- All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the background check is in process
- Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while awaiting results but must be supervised during this period
- Compliance with New Mexico Department of Health background check procedures is mandatory
Orientation
- Weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
