Travel RN Opportunity - Ottumwa, Iowa

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Number of Openings: 1
• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNAs and LPNs)
• Patient Population: Primarily adults

Required Experience and Certifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years (1-2 years listed, defaulting to higher requirement)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) a plus but not required
  • Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC) required
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License (LP)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Must have Iowa SING Background Check cleared (including criminal and child abuse portions) — no exceptions
• All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start; no instant or statewide searches accepted
• Mandatory reporter certification required (child and adult)
• Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates
• Titers must be from the last 12 months
• Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
