Facility & Unit Overview

• Acute care facility with 143 beds
• Unit: Women’s Services (Antepartum Department)
• Number of Beds:

  • 3 Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR)
  • 4 Triage
  • 2 Antepartum
  • 10 Postpartum/GYN/Pediatrics
• Patient Population: Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, pediatrics
• Patient Ratios: Based on acuity
• Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, GYN
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Yes
• Number of Openings: 1

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse license valid in North Carolina
• Certifications (must have prior to start):

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • STABLE (post-resuscitation/pre-transport care of sick infants)
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in specialty with charge nurse experience required
