Description

Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Position

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Day shift, typically Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
Weekend Hours: 1-2 weekend shifts per month
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None

Facility & Unit Information

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 40 beds
Patient population: Adult and geriatric
Patient ratio: 6:1
Specialized rehabilitation programs for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury

Required Qualifications & Experience

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (higher requirement between sources)
Must have inpatient rehab or hospital experience
BLS certification required
Must be flexible and dependable

Stroke
Neurological conditions
Cardiac issues
Debility
Orthopedic injuries
