Patient Ratios:
- PCU: 1:4
- Telemetry: 1:6
- Blended sets: 1:5 (experience required)
Patient Population: All ages
EHR System: Meditech
Float Requirements: May require travel within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Licensure: Registered Nurse license valid in Virginia
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- HWC (Health and Wellness Certification)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Experience: 2+ years preferred in Medical Surgical nursing (minimum 1-2 years required)
Additional Requirements:
- Must consent to random drug screening and complete a criminal questionnaire/consent form
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Tuesdays
- Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff

Small town with city amenities, located in “The River District” by the Dan River
Facility is a 250-bed academic community hospital with advanced certifications including Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center
Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear allowed

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
