Patient Population: Childbearing-aged women and newborns
Unit: OB/GYN (4 labor rooms, 4 postpartum rooms)
Patient Ratios:
- Labor/Delivery/Postpartum: 2-1:1 LDRP, 3 couplets:1 Postpartum
Electronic Health Records (EHR): OBIX, Medhost, GUI

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Registered Nurse License valid in New Mexico
Certifications:
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
- HWC
Years of Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Labor & Delivery specialty (highest requirement)
Experience: Previous Labor & Delivery/Postpartum experience required
Personality Fit: Patient experience focused, team-oriented, eager to learn

Compliance & Other Requirements

All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed (14-day waiver with supervision allowed while waiting for results)
Must meet New Mexico state requirements for clinical staff background checks
Scrub color: Not specific; no casual wear allowed
