Travel RN Opportunity - Gallatin, Tennessee

Position Details

• Specialty: RN (Ortho, Post Operative, Med/Surg)
• Location: Gallatin, TN
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As needed, approximately every third weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Must be willing to float as needed

Facility & Unit Information

• Facility Type: 167-bed healthcare facility, Level III Trauma Center
• Unit: Highpoint Health - Sumner, Floor A6
• Number of Beds on Unit: 23
• Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per nurse
• Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 years and older)
• EHR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse License to work in Tennessee
• Education: ASN RN
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (must be current prior to start)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1+ year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required

Skills & Experience

• Highly motivated with strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Good assessment skills preferred
• Experience with common diagnoses/treatments including:

  • Post operative joints
  • Post op bariatric
  • Postoperative GI
  • Trauma patients

Additional Information

• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as travel
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start
• Dress Code: Any scrub color; T-shirts must display hospital logo; no acrylic nails
