Travel RN Opportunity - Chesterfield, Missouri

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation (Med/Surg)
• Location: Chesterfield, Missouri
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Must float within 5 hospital units (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
• Patient Population: Adults (18+ years)
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6-7 during the day, 1:8 at night; each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Number of Beds: 81 private rooms
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Epic

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: RN licensed in Missouri
• Certifications: BLS (CPR) Certification
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Rehab/Med-Surg)
• Preferred: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) credential preferred
• Personality Fit: Flexible, collaborative, positive demeanor

Facility & Unit Information

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
• Features include specialized units for brain injury and stroke care, high-tech therapy gymnasiums, patient lifts, monitored rooms, and family-friendly private rooms.
• Comprehensive treatment approach addressing physical, emotional, and psychological patient needs.
• Additional amenities include pet therapy, outdoor healing garden, and walking trail.

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Must comply with facility influenza vaccination policy or have an approved exemption; masking required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31).
• Scrub color: black scrubs; must wear agency-provided ID badge.
• Report to Charge Nurse at 6:30 PM on first day.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
