Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
• Patient Population: Primarily adults
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNAs and LPNs)
• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• EHR System: MediTech

Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is a plus but not required
  • Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)
  • NIH Certification

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Must have Iowa SING Background Check cleared (including Criminal and Child Abuse portions) — no exceptions
• All background checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start — no instant or statewide searches accepted
• Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates
• Titers must be from the last 12 months
• Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience looking for a travel assignment in Iowa with flexible start days and guaranteed hours. Prior travel experience is a plus but not mandatory.
